Warning!
Always remove the mains plug before carrying out ad-
justments on the product.
Fitting of a suction line (Fig. 1)
1.
Screw a suction hose (plastic hose at least 19 mm
(3/4") directly or with a threaded nipple to the suction
connection (6) approx. 30.75 mm (T1") of the pump.
2.
Lay the suction line from the water pick-up point to
the pump in a continuously rising slope. Please do
not lay the suction line above the pump height. Air
bubbles in the suction line will delay and prevent
the suction process.
3.
Attach the suction and pressure lines so that
they do not exert any mechanical pressure on the
pump.
4.
The suction line should be located deep enough in
the water to prevent the pump from running dry if
the water level drops.
5.
A leaking suction line will prevent the water from
being sucked in due to air ingress.
6.
Avoid sucking in foreign bodies (sand etc.).

Filling the pump with water (Fig. 3)
m NOTE!
To reduce the start-up time of the pump and to prevent
air from being sucked in, the pump must be filled with
water beforehand!
1.
The suction line should already be fitted for this
purpose to prevent water from flowing out of the
suction connection (6).
2.
Use the opening of the pressure connection (1) to
fill the pump with water. Alternatively, water can
be poured in through the opening of the pre-filter
plug (7).
3.
Slightly tilt the pump now and then, to avoid air
being trapped.
4.
Now, attach the pressure line as described in the
next point.
Fitting of a pressure line (Fig. 1)
1.
Connect the pressure line (at least 19 mm (3/4"))
directly or via a threaded nipple to the pressure
connection (1) approx. 30.75 mm (T1") of the
pump.
2.
During the suction process, open the shut-off de-
vices (spray nozzles, valves, etc.) in the pressure
line completely so that the air present in the suc-
tion line can escape freely.
10. Start up
m Attention!
Always make sure the product is fully assembled
before commissioning!
1.
Place the product on a firm, level and horizontal
location.
2.
Open the pressure line.
3.
Connect the mains lead.
4.
Switch the product on using the on/off switch (3).
Suction can take up to 5 minutes at max. suction
head.
5.
Switch the product off at the on/off switch (3) when
you have finished working.
m NOTE!
The pump must be absolutely tight at the inlet and out-
let. Therefore, regardless of your chosen connection,
use a Teflon or any other sealing tape.
