Image 1: Illustrates that the lowering
angle of the blind can always be
changed after assembly. The ideal
lowering angle, however, has been set
at the factory when fully extended.

CAUTION: THE CORRECT POSITIONING OF FIXINGS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP IN THE
INSTALLATION OF THE BLIND. IT IS VITAL THAT YOU SECURE ALL WALL FIXINGS TO THE WALL PLUGS,
JOINTS, TIES OR OTHER MAJOR STRUCTURAL COMPONENTS.
WARNING: IMPROPER ATTACHMENT OF FIXINGS TO THE WALL CAN CAUSE THE AWNING TO FALL AND
RESULT IN PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH.

Image 3: The holes should be 9 cm deep
in the wall and should be drilled in a
solid brick or concrete wall. Do not drill
into mortar as this will not provide the
required support for the blind.

Image 2: Draw a horizontal line at the
height of the locations, as shown in the
image, and use a long ruler, spirit level,
and chalk. Mark the corresponding
locations on the wall by sliding a pencil
through the holes on the bottom of the
fixings.
Washer
Image 4: After inserting the dowels,
position the washers and then the wall
fixings. Now position the washers over
the heads of the nuts and tighten the
17mm bolts firmly.
