Device use
For good performance, it is advisable to use softwoods such as pine, willow, spruce, fir and birch.
When lighting the cooker, it is advisable to position the cooker so that the wind blows into the lower air
inlet. It is important that the grate in the centre is always pushed all the way in so that all the embers hang
in the air, burn out and do not clog up the firebox.
When lighting the cooker, there may be some heavy smoke, which will disappear as the cooker warms up.
Start the fire may be from above through the chimney using a piece of, for example, birch bark or several
small pieces of wood. Then use the slanted opening for smoking.
Once the cooker has heated up and some embers have been created you can use larger pieces from time

Store the unit in a dry, cool place, free from moisture and direct exposure to sunlight.

Do not spray the device with a water jet or submerge it in water.

Clean the vents with a brush and compressed air.
g)
The device must be regularly inspected to check its technical efficiency and spot any damage.

Use a soft cloth for cleaning.
i)
Do not use sharp and/or metal objects for cleaning (e.g. a wire brush or a metal spatula) because they
may damage the surface material of the appliance.
