• The cleaning and maintenance must be done by users but it
can not be done by children without any supervision.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or by its after-sales service or similar qualified
personnel in order to avoid a danger.
INSTRUCTIONS OF USE
• Take the wrapper of the cartridge away and remove the silver protection.
ATTENTION: remove also the transparent film located under the protection. To avoid allergic reactions,
use gloves when handling.
• Fix the cartridge in its place (3) Fig. A.
• Place the lid on the top of the appliance making coincide the two inner slots of the lid with the two slots of
the appliance and turn it slightly in the showed direction "CERRAR" (CLOSE) to leave it correctly fixed (Fig
B). Once closed the lid, the hole of the lid must be aligned with the main frontal switch.
• Place the appliance at a height of 1.2 meters from the floor, connect it to the mains and press the power
switch to position I. The fan will start to work and the lamp will light up.
• IMPORTANT: Due to its low consumption and the features of the appliance, to get the best performance it
must be working continuously 24 hours a day throughout the season.
• The estimated working life of one cartridge is 30 – 45 days.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
• Before you proceed to cleaning the appliance, ensure it is unplugged from the mains.
• Use a slightly damp cloth for cleaning the outside of the appliance.
• Clean the insect container (4) once a week or it is full. To do that move up the appliance and turn the container
anticlockwise.
• To replace the container fix it in the original position and turn it slightly clockwise (Fig. C).
• Remove the attractant cartridge before storage.
• Always store in an upright position for future uses.
• Do not use chemical or abrasive products, such as metallic scourers, which may deteriorate the surfaces of
the appliance.
ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
• Dispose the appliance according to the local garbage regulations.
• Never throw it away to the rubbish. So you will help to the improvement of the environment.
