Extracting tea
• Follow the first four steps in accordance with Extracting an espresso coffee/
long coffee (see Page 71).
Note: Whenever the type of drink to be extracted is altered (coffee, tea)
a purge action must be carried out (see Page 74).
• If the cup is higher than the distance between the tray and the extraction
,
nozzle
lower the cup tray (see Fig. 12).
Put a tea cup (with capacity exceeding 180cc) on the cup tray under
the extraction nozzle (see Fig. 13).
• Raise the lever to its full extent and insert a Delta Q coffee capsule in
the capsule holder hole, in accordance with the housing silhouette.
Completely lower the lever (see Fig. 9).
• Press the tea extraction button. The indicator lights of the espresso and
the coffee extraction buttons go out.
• The indicator light of the tea extraction button blinks (green colour) and
the tea extraction starts (see Fig. 14).
• During beverage extraction the corresponding extraction button may
be pressed in order to stop the operation.
If you wish to extract more of the beverage, press the button again.
• After extracting the amount of tea selected, the equipment stops
automatically. You are recommended to lift the lever again at the end
of the extraction process to release the capsule into the used capsule
tank. Lower the lever into its resting position (see Fig. 9).
Warning: If, during the beverage preparation, there is any alert

because of a lack of water, blockage or fault in the used
capsule tank, the equipment will/must be stopped immediately.
