Basic functions
PAUSE
Pauses playback.
STOP/EJ.
Stops playback and opens the cassette compartment.
F.FWD
Fast forwards the cassette.
REW
Rewinds the cassette.
PLAY
Starts playback, or resumes playback after pausing.
RECORD
Records playback.
Playing a cassette
Set the function selector button to the CASSETTE position.

Press the STOP/EJ. button to open the cassette compartment. Insert an audio cassette with the side

you want to listen to facing you, then close the compartment.
Press the PLAY button to start playback. The cassette plays until the end of that side, then stops

Press the PAUSE button to pause playback.

Press the F.FWD button to fast forward. Once the cassette has gotten to the end, press the STOP/EJ.

Select the source that you want to record on the cassette:

To record the radio, set the function selector button to the RADIO position and select the desired
station.
To record a CD or MP3 files, set the function selector button to the CD/MP3/AUX position and
select the chosen tracks(s).
Simultaneously press the PLAY and RECORD buttons to begin recording.

Press the STOP/EJ. button to stop recording.

The AUX IN jack plug enables you to connect an audio player, and play music from the player on the two
radio speakers.
To do so, plug the end of a 3.5 mm jack/jack cable (not supplied) into the AUX IN jack on the back of

Plug the other end into the audio output jack of your media player. Refer to the supplier's operating

manual for more information.
Set the function selector button to the CD/MP3/AUX position.

Begin playback on your auxiliary source; the sound travels through the two speakers on the radio.
