TROUBLESHOOTING
WARNING
Unplug the tool from the power supply before performing trouble shooting procedures.
PROBLEM
1 Power cord not
plugged in.
2. Power fault, fuse or
circuit breaker tripped.
Mixer will not
start.
3. Cord damaged.
4. Faulty switch.
5. Faulty motor.
Tool turns on,

or undersized.

POSSIBLE CAUSE
CORRECTIVE ACTION
1 Make certain the cord is connected to the
power supply.
2. Check the power supply.
3. Use authorized service center to repair or
replace.
4. Use authorized service center to repair or
replace switch.
5. Use authorized service center to repair or
replace motor.
Turn the mixer paddle slightly and push the
gear selector. Make sure it is in place.
1 Use extension cord heavy enough to carry
the current.
2. Turn off tool and let it cool to room
temperature. Inspect and clean the
ventilation slots.
3. Make sure the tool is set at the correct speed
to suit for the application and material.
4. Replace with new carbon brush
5. Turn off tool and let it rest a moment and
re-start tool again.
Have the carbon brushes checked or
replaced.
