7. Charging the battery

The following instructions describe how to charge the battery.
1. Turn the key to the vertical position (fig. 8). The LED on the thumb lever goes out (fig.9).
2. First insert the charging plug into the charging socket (fig. 9) and then into the power supply (fig. 10).
Charger LED indicator:
RED Switched on (no charging)
YELLOW Charging
GREEN Battery fully charged (trickle charge)
The charging time for a completely discharged battery is approx. 10-12 hours.

The state of charge of the battery is shown on the LED display (fig. 11).
