!
To avoid electric shock,
Be certain electrical power is OFF before and during installation and maintenance.
Luminaire must be supplied by a wiring system with an equipment grounding
conductor.
To avoid burning hands,
Make sure lens and housing are cool when performing maintenance.
Note: For luminaires installed using alternate mounting options, see relevant section
for additional installation instructions.
INSTALLATION - YOKE MOUNTING
1.
For luminaires fitted with yoke mount, install using 1/2" bolts or lag screws. See
Figure A for yoke mounting details.
Note: Prior to making any adjustments to yoke, consider that the 3/8"-16 screws
shown in Figure B are threaded into the yoke bracket.
2.
To set yoke mount to the desired angle, loosen the (4) 3/8"-16 nuts shown in
Figure B.
3.
Ensure the (4) 3/18"-16 screws are torqued to 132 in-lbs (14.9 N-m).
4.
Set the yoke bracket to the desired angle, and tighten nuts to set bracket in
place.
5.
Torque the (4) 3/8"-16 nuts to 132 in-lbs (14.9 N-m). Luminaire is provided with
three ¾" NPT conduit entries and two plugs shipped with the luminaire, but not
installed (Figure A). Plug the conduit entries not being used. To prevent galling
and to ensure water tightness, lubricate conduit plugs with Eaton's Crouse-Hinds
series HTL lubricant before installing, and secure wrench-tight with at least five
(5) full threads engaged (42-52 ft.-lb. for 3/4" plugs).

Champ LED Flood Pack's construction is designed for use indoors and outdoors in
marine and wet locations, where moisture, dirt, corrosion, vibration and rough usage
may be present.
To avoid explosion,
Make sure the supply voltage is the same as the luminaire voltage. Do not install
where the marked operating temperatures exceed the ignition temperature of the
hazardous atmosphere.
Do not operate in ambient temperatures above those indicated on the luminaire
nameplate.
Contact Crouse-Hinds for instructions on replacement parts.
Use proper supply wiring as specified on the luminaire nameplate. All surfaces
must be clean.
Before opening, electrical power to the luminaire must be turned off. Do not open
when an explosive atmosphere is present. Keep tightly closed when in operation.
To reduce the risk of ignition due to electrostatic discharge, avoid contact with the
luminaire while explosive atmosphere is present. Clean only with damp cloth.
When installed, the Luminaire may not be mounted outside the allowable range
shown in Figure C. Luminaire may only be mounted such that after install it is
oriented -90° to +45° from the 0° nominal shown in Figure C.
For Class II, Div. 1 and Simultaneous Presence Class I, Div. 2 and Class II
applications, the allowable mounting range is 0° to 45° only shown in Figure C.
