Unpacking 'four Beverage Center
1.
Remove all packaging material. This includes the foam and the adhesive tape
from aH outside and inside surfaces, as wdI as accessories
and racks Slide
out and remove the plastic or foam guard used to protect
the compressor from
shipping damage caused by vibration and shock,
2.
inspect and remove any remaining packaging, tape or printed materials
before powering on the beverage center.
3.
Check to be sure you have all accessories and parts listed in the Parts and
Features section.
Proper Air Circulation
To ensure that your beverage center works at the maximum efficiency
it was
designed for, you should install it in a location where there is proper air
circulation,
plumbing and electrical
connections.
The foiiowing
are recommended
clearances around the beverage
center:
Sides .................. 3/4 inches (I9 mm)
Top ......................2 inches (50 mm)
Back .................... 2 inches (50 mm)
Electrical Requirements
Make sure there is a suitable power outlet (115 volts, 15 amps) with
proper grounding to power the beverage center.
WARNING: NEVERout off the third grounding prong from the power cord
plug to accommodate a two prong outlet. Removal of the prong provides no
effective grounding for the appliance, which can result in serious iniury or death
from electrical shock

recessed or built-in
Place the beverage
center on a floor strong enough to support it fully

never tilt it b,, more than a 45 degrees angle.
This could damage the compressor and the sealed SVsTem.
If the beverage

has been fi_ted more than 45 degrees,
let it stand in an upright
position for at least ! hour prior to plugging it into the power source. This
will allow the refrigerant TOsettle and reduce the possibility of a malfunction in
the cooling system.
Plug the _everage
center
into an exclusive, properw installed grounded wall outlet.
Do not under any circumstances cut or remove the third lgrounding)
prong from
the power cord. See. the WARNING
