Use
- Position the warming tray on a sturdy, level and heat-resistant surface. Make sure that it is always secure and
rests level on all four feet.
- Plug the power cord into a suitable socket.
- To keep warm hot dishes, switch on the appliance. The control lamp lights up. Allow the appliance to preheat
for about 8 - 10 minutes. Then place the cookware/serving dish carefully on the glass ceramic surface.
- For preheating serving dishes place them on the warming tray before you switch on the appliance.
Caution !
Do not subject the glass ceramic surface to temperature shocks. Only place cold cookware/serving
plates on the cold plate. Only place hot cookware/serving plates on the preheated plate.
- Only place the cookware/serving dish on the glass ceramic surface carefully. Do not slide it, instead lift it up
and set it down in the desired position. Make sure that you do not slide e.g. a casserole when portioning and
taking out the food. This will prevent scratching and potential damage to the surface.
- Make sure that the cookware/serving dish rests securely on the warming tray and does not protrude over the
side of the glass ceramic surface.
- After use, switch off the appliance and remove the cookware/serving dish from the warming tray. If necessary,
use heat-resistant gloves and place the cookware/serving dish only on surfaces that are not sensitive to heat.
- Always pull out the power cord and allow the appliance to cool down completely after each use.
