ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS G35L + H English
IMPORTANT
Do not use antifreeze. Max. Connection pressure: 3.5 bar. To ensure the pressure, use commercially available pressure reducers or
the pressure reducer on your main line to prevent damage to the shower. Do not operate via a pump or domestic waterworks.
Heating the water will cause it to expand and some water will come out of the shower head. When the shower is not in use, turn
off the water supply - leave the mixing lever in the open position. Operation with 3/4 inch hoses will damage the shower. It is normal
for the shower to run on and this is the case with all solar showers of this type. Never accidentally turn the external thread of the
garden hose connection on its own axis.
Assembly
1. Choose a wind-protected location with the most hours of sunshine.
2. Mount the base (B) on a level, non-moving surface using the four screws, washers and floor anchors (K) provided. (Concrete base,
solid base plate). Consider the dead weight and the center of gravity of the filled shower. If you prefer your own attachment, the
diameter of the screw / bolt must not be larger than the original attachment. Hand-tight working with a wrench is sufficient and
prevents tension in the material.
3. Assembly of the rain shower (D): First the conical rubber/silicone seal goes into the bottom of the shower head. This takes the
ball joint. The plastic ring (with the tapered side facing up) is pushed over the ball joint. Now screw the chrome cover / union nut
over it. The union nut can already be screwed onto the back of the shower head upon delivery.
4. Attach the shower head (D) with seal (G) to the shower arm (E). Now attach the shower arm (E) with the seal (F) to the diverter
(L). Attach the diverter (L) with seal (F) to the upper thread of the shower half (A). Only hand-tighten here. Do not turn the diverter,
but its union nut. Connect the diverter (L) and hand shower (N) to the shower hose (M).
5. Place the sealing ring (C) in the recess of the lower column (B) and connect the two halves by turning in opposite directions.
6. Fit the adapter (J) to the water inlet of the shower. Do not use a rigid connection for the water connection.
7. If the connection on a union nut is leaking, you may have turned the attachment against the nut. This can loosen the union nut.
You can tighten them inside with a hex key / Allen key.
FIRST TIME OPERATION OF THE SOLAR SHOWER
1. Open the mixing valve, set it to the "hot" position so that no air bubbles remain in the hoses when the solar shower is filled.
2. Connect garden hose, hose connector (J). Turn on the water supply. The shower slowly fills with water.
3. When water comes out from the shower head (D), close the mixing valve, then the water starts to heat in the sun.
4. The heating of the water depends on the solar radiation, night temperatures, feed temperature and outside temperature. In
strong sunshine, the temperature in the tank can reach up to 60℃.
WINTER STORAGE
1. Close the water connection to the shower and remove the garden hose + quick coupling (J) from the shower.
2. Open the mixing valve and set it to the hot position.
3. Loosen the nut on the back, the drain plug (O). The water can now come out up to the bottom edge of this opening.
4. Dismantle the shower arm, foot shower and hand shower hose. To do this, turn the associated union nuts - not the attachment!
5. Remove the upper part from the lower part by turning the shower halves in opposite directions. Never carry the shower in one
piece!
6. Dismantle the lower column (B) and empty out the remaining water. Store the shower divided, not in one piece.
Can spend the winter outdoors when completely empty. To do this, remove water from all water-bearing components. Follow the
steps for winterizing (points 1 - 3). Check the attachments for residual water. Blow through the hand shower hose, for example.
Operate the mixer lever, foot shower and diverter switch several times to release the water. Let the hand shower hang down - residual
water collects at the lowest point. Proceed carefully and check the result. Water pockets that freeze in winter can cause irreparable
damage to the shower. Leave the mixing lever, drain plug and foot shower in the open position.
