ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS G35L + H English
1. Choose a location which will receive as much as possible sunlight for your solar shower.
2. Mount the lower stand with shower base(B) to concrete slab or wood base with four bolts, washers and nuts(K). We recommend using wrench.
3. Mounting the rain shower(D): First comes the sealing ring at the bottom of the shower head then comes the ball joint and then the white ring.
Then screw the chrome cover over it that everything is tight.
4. Fasten the shower head (D) with the gasket (G) to the extension pipe (E). Fasten the extension tube (E) with the gasket (F) to the switch (L).
Fasten the switch(L) with gasket(F) in the thread of the upper stand(A). Adjust these parts with your hands only. Do not use a wrench. Connect
the diverter(L) and the hand shower(N) to the shower hose(M). Attach the holder(O) to the upper stand (A), and then place the hand shower(N)
on the holder(O).
5. Put the O-ring(C) onto the lower stand(B).
6. Lift the upper stand (A) onto the lower stand (B). Connect the hoses.
7. Turn the locking ring clockwise to connect the two stands (A+B). Handle and shower head (D) need to face the same direction.
INITIAL SET UP OF THER SOLAR SHOWER
1.Open the handle and turn it to position "hot". This ensures that no air pockets are trapped in the hoses while filling with water.
2.Attach your garden hose to the hose connector(J). Turn on the water to fill the solar shower. It will take some minutes to fill up the solar shower.
3.When the water flows out of the shower head (D) turn the handle off. Now the solar shower begins to heat the water.
4.Depending on available sunlight and outside temperature, the solar shower will take about two hours to fully heat the water.
5.Water temperature in the solar shower can reach up to 60 degrees during strong sunshine.
WINTERIZATION
1.Turn off and disconnect the garden hose.
2.Open the handle and turn it to position "hot" to allow the water to drain out of the hoses and solar shower( This takes app. 8-10 minutes). Do
not turn off or turn the handle while draining, otherwise the water will stop draining out.
3. Twist the upper part off the lower part.
4.Disassemble the lower stand (B) and pour the remaining water out of the solar shower.
5.Clean and dry all solar shower parts.
6.Store all solar shower parts indoors and in a dry place during winter season to prevent frostbite.
The shower can also be emptied and left outdoors for the winter. To do this, all water-bearing components must be free of residual water. To
remove the last water in the lower area, you can loosen the nut on the thread for the hose adapter. However, only loosen it until water comes
in. When tightening, please work thoroughly hand-tight again. Under no circumstances should the thread / hose connection on the shower be
turned around its own axis.
MPORTANT
Do not use salt or other antifreeze under any circumstances. Recommended water pressure: up to 3.5 bar. Under no circumstances should the
solar shower be operated via an additional pump or domestic waterworks. To ensure the correct water pressure without fluctuations, you can
use commercially available pressure reducers for garden hoses. The heating of the water tank causes the contents to expand. This can cause
water to leak from the shower head. When the shower is not in use, you should turn off the water supply to the shower. You can do this, for
example, by using a commercially available shut-off valve with quick-release coupling directly at the water inlet of the solar shower. Operation
with ¾ inch hoses and/or with reducers can damage the shower due to the higher water pressure at the water inlet. The shower may run on
and this is normal and is the case with all solar showers of this type due to their design.
