REMOVING GRILL PLATES
1.
Cooking plates are removable for ease of cleaning.
2.
Use the lid handle to open the lid.
3.
Slide the upper plate release button located on the
top front of the Panini Grill lid. (See Figure 2)
4.
As the plate is released, pull the top plate forward,
then up from the slots on the bottom of the upper
lid.
5.
Press the plate release button, located on the right
side of the Panini Grill base to release the lower
plate. (See Figure 3). Pull the plate up, then out
from the slots on the bottom of the lower lid. (See
Figure 4).
6.
Brush grill plates with a clean, brush or cloth. If
necessary, clean plates in warm, soapy water. For
best results: never use cold water to clean warm
grill plates.
7.
Condition both ribbed and/or flat plates before
each heating following the detailed procedures
outlined in the CONDITIONING PANINI GRILL
PLATES section of this instruction manual.
INSTALLING GRILL PLATES
1.
Place the Panini Grill on a sturdy, flat, level surface. Open the lid to 90º.
2.
Place 2 clean grill plates, cooking-side-up, on a working surface near the
Panini Grill.
IMPORTANT: ALWAYS INSTALL UPPER AND LOWER PLATES WITH
COOK-SIDES-UP.
3.
Grasp the new upper plate with tabs facing down. Fully insert the 2 tabs into the
2 slots and press the upper plate into the body until it snaps securely into place.
4.
Grasp the new lower plate with tabs facing inward. Fully insert the 2 tabs into the
2 slots and press the lower plate into the body until it snaps securely into place.

5.
Keep Panini Grill closed until ready to use.
