6. Use
Connect the device to the mains and flick the power switch at the back of the device to ON. After the warm-up time
(approx. 5-8 minutes) the device is ready for use. The green indicator light is now lit:
• Activate/deactivate the smoke output with the push button.
• It may happen that the standby lamp on the remote control is off and the smoke emission stops, even while you
are holding the button. In this case the device is warming up again and will be ready to resume operation in a few
minutes' time. This process guarantees an appropriate vaporisation temperature and the best smoke emission
possible.
7. Cleaning and Maintenance
1. All screws should be tightened and free of corrosion.
2. Mechanically moving parts must not show any signs of wear and tear.
3. The electric power supply cables must not show any damage. Have a qualified technician maintain the device.
4. Disconnect the device from the mains prior to maintenance activities.
5. Wipe the device regularly with a moist, lint-free cloth. Do not use alcohol or solvents.
6. There are no user-serviceable parts, apart from the fuse (see "5. Installation").
7. Contact your dealer for spare parts if necessary.
8. Clean the heating element after every 30 hours of use with a special cleaning liquid available from your dealer. Fill
the tank with the cleaning liquid and let the machine run for a while. When the device is cleaned, remove the
remaining cleaning liquid and rinse the tank thoroughly with distilled water. Never use regular water for cleaning or
rinsing!
