Remote Controller
Switching on and normal operation
Operating control mode
By pressing the COOLING/HEATING button,
the remote control selects the operating mode
by switching on the LED corresponding to the
selection made (cooling
or vice versa). The unit will operate with the
times necessary for the chosen selection.
In the event of a temporary power supply failure
the remote control will memorise the mode
settings at the time of failure.
diagnostics
The electronic control on the machine continuously monitors its
operation. In the event of a malfunction, it activates a relay whose
contact generates a coded alarm signal sending ON/OFF signals
to the remote control and switching on the alarm LED
pre-set sequences. Some alarm conditions are automatically reset,
others require the intervention of the operator to search for the fault,
remove its cause and switch the unit back ON.
Example:
Alarm code 31 with persistent alarm condition
1 + 1 + 1=3 1
LED on for 1 second
LED off for 1 second
To restart the unit, remove the alarm cause and press the ON/OFF button.

ECO control
By pressing the ECO button, the green Eco
LED
will come on and the outdoor unit
will change its reference value for the desired
temperature from the normal condition to the
energy-saving condition during cooling or
heating operation.
When the ECO button is pressed again, the
green LED will go off and the outdoor unit
will return its reference value for the desired
temperature to the normal condition.
In the event of a temporary power supply failure
the remote control will memorise the mode
settings at the time of failure.
Alarm codification
The alarm code generated by a failure is shown to the operator.
The alarm codification is based on the binary two-digit code X1 and
X2, as follows:
the first figure X1 flashes at 1 second intervals until it reaches the
number corresponding to the first digit, after a pause of 2 seconds,
second figure X2 starts to flash, again with 1 second intervals until
the number corresponding to the second is reached (only for two-
digit codes).
