Scope of delivery: The Perfect Clean Filter system consists of an internal aquarium filter with a foam filter
cartridge which is optimally adapted to the housing shape as well as a filter cartridge with a zeolite/activated
carbon mixture.This guarantees the best possible filter performance and water cleaning.
The included optional nozzle attachment provides excellent water movement.
Functionality: The Perfect Clean Filter cleans the aquarium water according to
the internal filter principle. The filter operates fully submerged in water. The main-
tenance-free pump inside the pump chamber sucks in water and pushes it through
the different filter modules. This continuous circulation permanently cleans the water,
removes pollutants, and at the same time provides the necessary circulation of the
aquarium water.
The water is cleaned in several stages:

1. The filter sponge
mechanically removes coarse particles from the water, which
are then biologically degraded by bacteria settling there.
2. The filter cartridge

combination of high-quality activated carbon and particularly pure zeolite. It
removes odours, medication residue, chlorine and organic waste products caused
by conversion. It further lowers the phosphate and ammonia content and ensures
rapid growth of the bacteria culture, which promotes biodegradation.
These positive properties inhibit algae growth, create clear, non-toxic water, thus
optimising species-appropriate care of the aquarium inhabitants and plants.
Preparing the filter:
· Carefully remove the filter and accessories from the packaging and verify all parts are complete and check
parts for damage.If parts are missing your damaged, please contact your speciality retailer.
· Remove the filter insert
· Remove the filter sponge
· Rinse the filter sponge
· Now reinstall the filter cartridge
· Before sliding the filter insert back into the filter housing you should apply the filter media with Dupla Bacter
cleaning bacteria (item no.: 80369) as follows for the best possible start of the biodegradation process: Apply
one capful (20 ml) Dupla Bacter directly to the filter sponge
· Now slide the filter insert
Placing the filter in the aquarium:
· Thoroughly clean the area / glass in the aquarium where the Perfect Clean Filter will be installed for the best
possible adhesion of the suction cups
