against motor and belt damage should the
brushroll jam. If the brushroll slows down
or stops, the overload protector shuts off

and the brushroll status
indicator emits red light. The canister
motor will continue to run.

To correct problem: Turn off and unplug
vacuum cleaner, remove obstruction, then
turn on the vacuum cleaner again. The
