Access these controls on the wired remote control:
Power
Switch between standby ("off") and on.
Volume
Adjusts the overall system volume.
Bass
Adjusts the subwoofer volume (bass level.)
Matrix
Turns on Matrix mode. Use this button when you want
to create 5.1 surround sound from 2-channel stereo
sources like music and video game consoles.
Headphone Jack
When headphones are used with your X-540 system,
the speakers will mute automatically for private
listening. Headphone volume is controlled by the
soundcard on your computer.
Dolby
Digital
®
The X-540 speakers support Dolby
®
Digital sound on
your PC if your 6-channel or greater sound card or DVD
software can decode a Dolby
®
Digital soundtrack.

Mounting your Logitech
X-540 Speakers

Placing your speakers on top of a flat-panel LCD
monitor
The center channel speaker can be mounted on top of a flat-
panel LCD monitor. Swivel the center channel base back and
make sure the lip under the front of the speaker is touching the
front of the LCD monitor. Then, swivel the base back until it is
touching the back of the LCD monitor and tighten the hinge
screw for a secure fit.
Hanging your speakers on the wall

X-540 speaker satellites are wall mountable.
Swivel the satellite base to desired position, and use the
notch to hang your speaker on appropriate wall anchors.
Tighten the screw in the bottom of the base, if required.
