Cut the slip connector so that it extends ⅜" outside the
surface of the finished wall.
Run a bead of caulk around the back of the escutch-
eon.
Install the escutcheon.
Lubricate the threads on the nut using white plumbers
grease.
Install the nut.
Tighten the nut using a 15 mm wrench.
