IMPORTANT SAFETY WARNINGS
• Failure to observe the following instructions can cause
personal injury or property damage (electric shock, burns,
fire). The following safety instructions and hazard warnings
are intended not only to protect your health and that of
other people, but also to protect the hairdryer. Please
observe these safety instructions and make sure that you
hand these over if you pass the hairdryer on to anyone
else.
• RISK OF ACCIDENTS AND DANGER TO LIFE FOR
INFANTS AND CHILDREN! Never leave children
unsupervised with the packaging material. Suffocation
hazard.
• DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Please ensure that
the hair dryer, the mains plug and the mains lead do not
come into contact with water, steam or other liquids. Use
the hairdryer only in dry indoor environments (e.g. never in
the bath, sauna). If a hairdryer falls into the water, do not
attempt to pick it up. Remove the mains plug immediately
from the socket. There is a risk of electric shock.
• DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK AND INJURY! Do
not subject the hairdryer to any impact and do not drop
it. Before every use, check the hairdryer, the mains plug
and the mains cable carefully for signs of wear and /
or damage. Do not use the hairdryer, if you see signs
of wear or damage or if the hairdryer has been used
incorrectly. Switch it off immediately in the case of defects
or malfunctioning as there is a danger of electric shock and
injury.
