Avoid spillages when re-fueling. If spillages occur, then always clean up before
operating the generator.

Perform a visual check for any signs of leaks prior to operating the generator. If any
leaks are found, do not use until repaired.

Keep flammable liquids away from the generator when in use.
•
Do not smoke whilst operating or re-fueling the generator.
•
Always keep spare or unused fuel in an appropriate container designed for such use.
•
Wear protective clothing whilst operating the generator.
•
Some parts of the generator will get hot during operation, take care not to touch hot
components
•
Always keep children and animals away from the generator whilst in use.
•
We recommend the use of ear protectors when operating the generator.
•
The exhaust fumes contain carbon monoxide, which is highly toxic. Always operate the
generator in an open, well-ventilated area. Never operate indoors.
•
Always follow proper manual handling procedures when moving the generator.
•
This generator contains moving parts so always ensure loose clothing or hair is tied
back when operating the generator.
•
Apart from daily maintenance and cleaning, all repairs are to be carried out by a
qualified technician.
•
Always ground the generator before use. Connect a length of heavy wire between the
generators ground terminal and an external ground device or ground rod.
•
Do not connect any equipment to the generator before you start it.
