Advanced settings (Fig. 18), to be carried out only by an accredited installer
Advanced settings are explained in the ZITY installation
manual and must only be carried out by an accredited
installer.
Advanced configuration is carried out by means of the
following menus:
•
Menu No. 3, temperature compensation: this allows you
to make a temperature compensation from -8ºC/ºF to
+8ºC/ºF,
•
Menu No. 4, screen backlighting: when the option "ON"
is selected the screen is continually lit (although its
intensity is reduced); when the option "OFF" is selected
it is turned off after 15 seconds,
•
Menu No. 6, fan control: when the option "ON" is
selected the fan remains active and its speed can be
varied using the "FAN" key; when the option "OFF" is
selected the fan remains inactive and the "FAN" key
does not have any effect,
•
Menu No. 7, reset to factory values: if you select "ON" it
will return to the factory values,
•
Menu No. 8, Celsius (ºC) or Fahrenheit (ºF): allows you
to select ºC or ºF,
•
Menu No. 9, operating modes available: allows you to
select the modes that will be available during use. The
possible options are:
"0": Cooling + Fan;
"1": Heating + Fan;
"2": Cooling + Heating + Fan;
"3": Floor Heating;
"4": Floor Cooling;
"5": Floor Heating + Floor Cooling;
"6": Floor Heating + Heating + Fan;
"7": Floor Cooling + Cooling + Fan;

Menu No. 10, maximum temperature limit: allows you to
select the maximum temperature value that can be set
during use, between 10ºC and 30ºC (59ºF and 86ºF),
•
Menu No. 11, minimum temperature limit: allows you to
select the minimum temperature value that can be set
during use, between 10ºC and 30ºC (59ºF and 86ºF),
•
Menu No. 14, button lock: allows you to lock certain
buttons to avoid them being pressed inadvertently. The
lock indicator light will be turned on (11 in fig. 3). The
possible options are:
"00": unlocking, no button locked;
"01": all locked;
"02": "UP" and "DOWN" buttons locked;
"03": "MODE" button locked;
"04": "FAN" button locked;
"05": "MODE" and "FAN" buttons locked;
"06": "FAN", "UP" and "DOWN" buttons locked;
"07": "FAN", "UP", "DOWN" and "MODE" buttons
locked;
"08": "MODE", "UP" and "DOWN" buttons locked
•
Menu No. 15, behaviour when the power supply is cut
off: when the option "0" is selected the thermostat will
remain turned off when the power supply returns;
selecting the value "1" will return to the status it was in
when the power supply was cut off,
