Cordless Worklight
INTENDED USE
The cordless worklight is intended for hand-guided illumi-
nation with regard to space within dry areas.
SAFETY NOTES
Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Fail-
ure to follow the warnings and instructions may
result in electric shock, fi re and/or serious injury.
● Please read and observe all safety warnings and in-
structions enclosed with the battery or the power tool,
with which the battery was provided.
● Handle the cordless worklight with care. The cordless
worklight generates intense heat, which leads to in-
creased danger of fi re and explosion.
● Do not work with the cordless worklight in hazardous
areas.
● After the automatic shut-off of the cordless worklight,
do not continue to press the On/Off button. The battery
could become damaged.
● Do not direct the light beam at persons or animals and
do not stare into the light beam yourself (not even from
a distance).
● Do not cover off the lamp head while operating the cord-
less worklight. The lamp head heats up during operation
and can cause burns when the heat accumulates.
● Do not use the cordless worklight in road traffi c. The
cordless worklight is not approved for illumination in
road traffi c.
BATTERY CHARGING
Note: The battery is supplied partially charged. To ensure
full capacity of the battery, completely charge the battery
in the battery charger before uing your power tool for the
fi rst time.
The LI-ION battery can be charged at any time without re-
ducing its service life.
Interrupting the charging procedure does not damage the
battery.
INITIAL OPERATION
Switching On and Off
The cordless worklight produces a light beam that emerges
from the lamp head.
To start the cordless worklight, press the On/Off switch.
To switch off the cordless worklight, press the On/Off switch
again.
To save energy, only switch the cordless worklight on when
using it.
MAINTENANCE
Make sure that the machine is not live when car-
rying out maintenance work on the motor.
Regularly clean the machine housing with a soft cloth, pref-
erably after each use. Keep the ventilation slots free from
dust and dirt.If the dirt does not come off use a soft cloth
moistened with soapy water. Never use solvents such as
petrol, alcohol, ammonia water, etc. These solvents may
damage the plastic parts.
The machine requires no additional lubrication.
Should a fault occur, e.g. after wear of a part, please con-
tact your local SBM Group dealer.
ENVIRONMENT
In order to prevent the machine from damage during trans-
port, it is delivered in a sturdy packaging. Most of the pack-
aging materials can be recycled. Take these materials to
the appropriate recycling locations. Take your unwanted
machines to your local SBM Group dealer. Here they will
be disposed of in an environmentally safe way.
LI-ION batteries can be recycled. Deliver them to a disposal
site for chemical waste so that they can be recycled or dis-
posed of in an environmentally friendly manner.
