FITTING YOUR SKATES
STEP 1: Make sure child is seated and has already put on protective equipment prior to wearing skates.
Press down buckle to release fastener strap.
STEP 2: Adjust on underside, push both buttons on underside of the skate and pull to the fully extended
position. Place child's foot into skate. Adjust to appropiate size for your child foot size.
STEP 3: Pull fastener strap into buckle to tighten and to secure.

WORN BRAKES REPLACEMENT
WARNING! Before use, check the brakes for wear and replacement. Excessively Worn Brakes are not as
affective for stopping.
Never modify these skates in any way as it could impair safety. To replace brake, locate the screw nut
inside center of brake pad on front of skate.
Loosen nut until it detached from brake housing. Pull down on Brake te remove from housing. Insert new
brake into housing same as removed and place screw into opening it came out of. Place now through
screw and tighten. Double check to make sure the screws are secured tight before riding.
BRAKING
Practice braking first in a safe area with plenty of room and adult supervision. To use brake, lean slightly
forward at the waist, apply pressure on the brake with your heel. The amount of pressure you apply to the
heel will determine your stop rate.
WARNING! Always keep you eyes on the road and remember to allow yourself plenty of time ans space to
stop. The brake on the skate is designed to stop gradually. Stopping distance may vary on the speed and
weight of the skater, as well as their skating ability.
STARTING OUT
Adult assistance is required, skater should start out by bending their knees slightly, then using ons skate
to push off to the side as you slowly move forward with the other skate. Bring the other back skate forward
so now it is even with the front skate. Repeat till comfortable with movement. Remember to always have
knees bent slightly. To make turns skater must glide and bring knees together and lean in the direction in
direction desired to turn on to. Practice turning to left and right to achieve confidence.
MAINTENANCE
Lubricate the wheel mechanims every few rides depending on use.
Always inspect the wheel mechanism prior to putting your skates to ensure they functioning properly and
spin freely. Keep free from dirt debis. Stay out of sand, dirt and water covered skating areas.
Immedialy stop use of the skate if wheel becomes loose or worn excessively.
Make sure front brakes are tightly secured to skate before each use.
Make sure before each ride straps are in good working condition and can lock into clip for secure fit.
Clean with soft brush or damp cloth, never submerge in water. Keep away from heat or extreme
temperatures. Always store your skates inside the house out of the water.
