Página 16 AUTO DIMMER AND ALERT SETTINGS Automatic Display Dimmer The HomeAware™ has a built in auto dimmer. It will automatically dim when the room gets darker. The auto dimmer can also be turned off and will stay bright even when the room gets dark.

Página 18 BACKUP BATTERY Battery Back Up 1. To set up battery backup unplug the Main unit from the 120v power supply. 2. Install 5 new AA alkaline batteries in battery compartment located on the bottom of the Main unit. 3. The LED display will be dimmed when running on the battery backup only.
Página 19 USB CHARGING USB Charging The HomeAware™ is equipped with a convenient USB charging port on the back panel that allows you to recharge many brands of mobile phones, portable music players, and other handheld devices that are supplied with USB charging cables, tablets not included.
Página 20 DOORBELL TRANSMITTER SET UP The HomeAware™ HA360DB Doorbell Transmitter will alert you when someone comes to visit. The HomeAware™ doorbell transmitter requires no wires and can be installed in seconds. You can add up to four additional transmitters to accommodate other doors or use the doorbell transmitter as a portable personal SOS alerter.
Página 21 DOORBELL TRANSMITTER SET UP Continued Linking Doorbell Transmitter to Main Unit This procedure will link your doorbell transmitter to your HomeAware™ Main unit. The Main unit will also provide an alert to all HomeAware™ remote receivers. When using the Sonic Alert Bridge unit all original Sonic Alert receivers (SA101, SA201, BL300, and SB1000) will also alert you.
Página 22 DOORBELL TRANSMITTER SET UP Continued Placement of the Doorbell Transmitter Proper placement of the HomeAware™ doorbell transmitter is important because it uses Digital RF frequencies to send its signal. It’s important to not place or install it on anything made of metal because RF signals cannot transmit through anything made of metal.

Página 25 DOORBELL TRANSMITTER SET UP Continued Step 2) Installation to Existing Powered Door Chime With this method you can install the HomeAware™ transmitter to your existing AC powered doorbell chime. This method allows you to use the existing doorbell button so there aren’t two buttons outside.
Página 26 VIBRATOR / BED SHAKER Vibrator/Bed Shaker Your HomeAware™ comes with a powerful vibrator/bed shaker. This powerful vibrator/bed shaker is most effective when placed between the mattress and box spring or under a pillow. This feature is a great way to wake up as it requires no loud sound that can wake others.
