Changing the tool.
Secure the power tool with the safety strap supplied at all times, especially for
WARNING
work carried out at elevated heights, when drilling horizontally or above the head.
If there is a power loss, or the power plug is pulled out, the magnetic holding power is not
maintained.
Before mounting or replacing cutting tools or accessories, pull the power plug.
WARNING
This preventive safety measure rules out the danger of injuries through acci-
dental starting of the power tool.
Carbide tipped cutter (Figure 5).
Insert the pilot pin into the carbide tip-
ped cutter.
Turn the QuickIN clamping sleeve of
the tool holder leftward and insert the
carbide tipped cutter with the pilot pin.
Release the QuickIN clamping sleeve
and turn the carbide tipped cutter in the
tool holder until the lock engages.
Do not touch the sharp edges of the carbide tip-
ped cutter.
Twist drills M 18 x 6 / P 1.5 (Figure 6).
Screw the adapter onto the key-type
drill chuck.
Turn the QuickIN clamping sleeve of
the tool holder leftward and insert the
adapter in the same manner as a carbide
tipped cutter.
Twist drill bit with morse taper arbor
(JCM206Q) (Figure 7).
Loosen the securing nut of the tool
holder. The securing nut has a lefthanded
thread.
Knock the adapter out using the drift.
Clean the inner taper of the shaft and
insert the 3 MT twist bit.
