oPerAtion - Before use for the first time
When using the jug kettle for the first time boil three jugs of water, and dispose of the boiled water. This will
remove the last traces from the manufacturing process.
tip: You can use vinegar or special descaling agents for the first time.
oPerAtion - Boiling water
1. Turn the jug so that the spout (1) faces away from you.
2. Press the button to open the lid (4).
3. Fill the jug (3) with the required quantity of water (at least 0,6 litres, and a maximum of 1,7 litres).
Never fill the water boiler over the "max". Otherwise the hot water can spatter out of the base.
Make sure that you do not spill any water on the base.
4. Close the lid (2).
5. Place the jug on the base, and insert the plug in the wall socket. The LED-display (5) switches on and
displays the current water temperature. Press the on/off button (8). The default setting of the device is
100 °C.
6. Use the - and + buttons (6 and 7) to set the desired temperature. The kettle will start to heat the water
right away.
7. When then the set temperature is reached the kettle will stop heating and sound off with a signal.
