Due to the fact that more than one source of hardwood
is used in this door kit, we recommend testing your stain
and/or top coat for desired color prior to attaching the
doors.
A sample chip for each source of hardwood found in
this kit has been provided for this reason. The sample chip
for the veneer fl at panel is stamped "BACK" to indicate
how the panel is positioned in the door frame. Test your
choice of stain and/or top coat on the front side.
Pay special attention to the veneer that is used in the
fl at panel of each door. This panel may require more than
one coat of stain to match the door frame. If you are using
only a clear top coat to create a natural fi nished look, you
may need to use a natural color stain on the door panel
to match the color of the door frame.
