Quick start guide
Look at the reverse of your player. Now look to the right-hand side and you
will see a vertical row of 5 sockets...
Connecting speakers: MOST IMPORTANT – Please check that you
connect one speaker to the socket marked as L and one to the socket
marked as R.
DO NOT CONNECT THE SPEAKERS TO ANY OTHER SOCKET, AS
THIS MAY CAUSE NO AUDIO TO OUTPUT FROM THE STEREO AT ALL.
Connecting power: The power cable connects to the socket marked as DC
6V (bottom socket).
DO NOT connect the power cable to the AUX socket as your stereo will not
work if you do.
Once you have followed the above setup advice you will find the top 2
sockets on the rear of the stereo have nothing connected to them.
YOU ARE NOW READY TO POWER UP AND ENJOY YOUR NEW CD
STEREO.

Problems playing a CD? Open the CD disc tray and inside under where the
CD would sit is an arm which moves in and out from the centre of the disc
when reading it. There is a small lens on this arm, which is a small circular
piece of glass/plastic that the laser passes through to read the disc. Gently,
using a cotton bud, clean this. Any minute piece of dust etc stuck to this can
interfere with the laser and cause the player to not read discs. Once cleaned
gently blow on it to blow off any dust left there from the cotton bud. This
resolves most CD playback issues!
