3. Receiving the product

3.1 Inspecting the product

Before installing the product, perform the following:
1. Check that the product corresponds to the order.
2. Check that the visible parts are not damaged.
3. If parts are damaged or missing, contact the local
Grundfos sales company immediately.
4. Re-tighten the screws as they may become loose
during transport.

3.2 Scope of delivery

These installation and operating instructions apply to
Grundfos PowerAdapt.
The following documents are supplied with this
product:
• Wiring diagram.
• Parts list.
• Sectional drawing.
• Installation and operating instructions for MP 204.
• Installation and operating instructions
for RSI (only if the control cabinet includes an
RSI).

4. Installation requirements

4.1 Location

• Place the product in a flood-safe place.
• Make sure that the ambient temperature is within
the limits.
• Install the product as close as possible to the
connected pumps, sensors, and accessories.
• The product must be protected from direct
sunlight.
• The product must be easily accessible.
• Install the product in a protective shed or
enclosure to avoid direct sunlight and rain.
• Indoor installation: The product must be installed
in a well-ventilated room to ensure cooling of its
components.
