Example system with lithium batteries and Victron monitoring
The connection between the regulator, the master battery and the GX device
(Venus, Color Control, etc.) must be guaranteed. Failure to make this connection
can result in equipment damage. Failure to program the regulator for Lithium
batteries can also cause irreparable damage to the equipment.
As shown in the picture, pin 5 of the regulator must be connected to COM3 of the
battery. From the NO3 terminal of the battery to the COM of the GX device relay,
and from the NO of the GX device relay to pin 7 of the controller.
The GX device must be programmed as a generator start, to close the relay and
allow the regulator to operate or open and stop it. It is recommended to stop
charging at 95% and allow it from 85% of the SOC of the battery.
