Terms of use:
• If the user conditions are not be respected, the manufacturer is not liable for damage.
• If the plug or the cord is damaged, the appliance may no longer be used. The appliance only be put into service
if it has been replaced by the manufacturer, a Mestic service technician or a person with a similar qualification.
• Never remove the plug from the wall outlet by pulling on the cord.
• Make sure that the appliance is on a flat and stable surface.
• Do not use for commercial purposes.
• When the appliance is in use it must never be left unattended.
• This product is not suitable for users with mental or motor mental disorders. people with insufficient experience
are advised to read the manual first carefully.
• The use of this device is prohibited for children under 8 years of age. It is therefore important that children
younger than 8 years of age cannot come into contact with the appliance or the cord.
• For children from 8 years of age, use is permitted if they are supervised by an elderly person with experience.
• Avoid contact with water with both the plug, cord and device.
• The temperature of the toaster can become very high during the use, be careful not to cause damage or injury.

Using for the first time:
• Remove the device and the accessories from the box.
• Remove all packing materials and stickers from the device.
• Place the device on a flat and stable surface. Make sure there is at
least 10 cm free space on each side.
• Connect the device to the mains supply. Make sure that the wall outlet corresponds to the indicated voltage at
the bottom of the device (220V-240V 50 / 60HZ)
• The first time the appliance is used, a strange smell may develop, this smell will disappear over time.
The use of the device:
• The appliance can be used to toast 1 or 2 slices of bread.
• Place the crumb tray under the appliance. Make sure that it is cleaned after use.
• Insert the plug into a grounded socket.
• Turn the control to the desired position. (1 is roasting short and 6 is roasting long)
• Press down the lever of the toaster to start roasting.
• At the moment the bread reaches the desired colour, the handle will shoot up, the slices of bread can be taken
out.
• It is possible to check the bread in the meantime, if the bread is found good, roasting can be stopped by
pressing the cancel button.
• If the bread is still frozen, the defrost button can be used. Use the device as mentioned above. The time will be
adjusted automatically so that the desired result is achieved.
• Reheat the bread is also possible, then press the Reheat button, there is a fixed time for this option.
Cleaning:
• Remove the plug from the socket first before you start cleaning.
• Wait for cleaning until the appliance has cooled down.
• Use a slightly damp cloth to clean the appliance.
• Never use aggressive cleaning agents or objects that can cause scratches (scourer, abrasive wool, cutlery etc.)
• Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
• Empty the crumb drawer after each time you have used the device.
