Preparations and filling
the stove
Before starting to use the
stove, read the Warnings
section. Do not use the stove if
you cannot do it safely.
1.
Place the stove on a fireproof
level surface, for example a
ceramic or metal plate.
Surface must have edges
that will collect any alcohol
that may be spilled during
preparation or use. This is
especially important when
using the stove indoors.
2.
Inspect the stove. Do not
use if damaged.
3.
If the metal sealing cap (2)
is not in place, place it over
the burner (9). It is needed
to hold the funnel and to
make sure there is no flame
in the burner.
4.
Remove the silicone ring (1).
5.
Remove the fuel tank cap
(3).
6.
Place the supplied plastic
funnel on top of the metal
sealing cap (2) so that its
nozzle is over the fuel tank
opening.
7.
Fill the supplied measuring
cup with ethanol fuel.
8.
Fill the tank (8) of the stove
with ethanol by pouring from
the cup to the funnel. The
tank capacity is 120 ml (4.1
fl oz).
Pour slowly, and do not
fill above the red mark on
the fuel tank opening.
