7.3 - Checking the tightness
Warning!
Never present a flame for checking
the tightness.
When using your device for the
first time or after maintenance, it is
essential to check the tightness of the
circuit.
The tightness of the appliance must be checked
with soapy water or a special product after
opening the shut-off valve.
The absence of bubbles on the soapy water
connection indicates a good tightness.
Follow the instructions in the AFG
brochure "Installation and Operating
Rules Guide".
8 - Commissioning
Warning!
Check the tightness of the circuit
before commissioning the device.
When using the appliance for the first
time or after a service call of your
appliance, a soapy water-tightness
check must also be carried out
(appliance in full flow mode) at the gas
connections downstream of the valve
immediately after the appliance ignition.
If the gas pressure at the input of the appliance
is outside the range specified, the appliance
must not be put in operation. If the cause can
not be identified or if the problem can not be
resolved, notify the gas company.

● Push on the safety valve pusher (1) during 20
seconds.
● Introduce a flame through the hole (3) for
about 10 seconds (time required to engage
security).
● Release the safety valve pusher (1).
● Your device is in use.

9 - Turn the device off
To turn off the device:
● Close the main gas supply tap.
In case of prolonged shutdown, shut off
the gas supply of the installation
We recommend that you close off the
gas supply in the case of an prolonged
shutdown.
10 - Maintenance
Maintenance operations must be
performed by qualified personnel.
10.1 - Maintenance operations
The installation must be verified and
checked at least every three years by a
qualified technician.

● Check that the thermocouple (11) and the
magnetic head (8) are working correctly.
● Check the condition of the burners "secured
flame holder" (14) and replace the defective
parts.
Disassembly of the burner (14)
must be carried out cold.
● Replace the hoses according to their
expiration date or condition.
● For devices equipped with filter, clean them
every day.
● Check the quality of automatic cleaning
of SOLAIR heating systems without filter
(pyrolysis of dusts).
● Monitor the quality of combustion in the
burners (14).
● Check the fixing of the SOLAIR heating
systems.
● Remove unused SOLAIR heating systems as
you go.
If there is an anomaly, do not hesitate
to ask your installer for advice.

● Abnormally noisy combustion
● An abnormal functioning.
