Safety Instructions
You will be able to operate the machine safely
only if you have read the complete Operation
Manual, and will guide yourselves carefully by
the instructions contained therein. Moreover, it
is necessary to respect the general safety
instructions shown in the enclosed booklet.
When drilling orifices into ceilings or walls,
check first - e.g. with a metal finding device -
whether no electric transmission lines nor gas
or water piping are located under the plaster
in the place where you intend to drill.
Before every operation, check the machine,
the cable and the plug. Never use a machine
with a damaged cable. Any damage must be
repaired by a professional.
Connect the plug into the socket only if the
machine is disengaged.
Lead the cable always backwards from the
machine.

The machine must not be wet and it must not
be employed in a wet environment.
Caution with long hair. Operate the machine
always in a tight-fitting clothing.
Both the extension cable and the plug must
me approved for outside use.
Because of safety reasons, use always the
additional handle.
Fasten the workpiece by means of a clamping
jig.
n the course of the operation, hold the

machine always with both hands, and stand in
a safe position.
Do not leave any keys nor the drift (7) inserted
in the machine.
Caution with the reacting moment of the
drilling machine, in particular if the drill is
jammed (pulled in).
Before any work on the machine, pull the plug
out of the socket.
The machine must not be operated by
persons below the age of 16 years.
Protection of the Machine
Unproper handling of the machine can cause
damage. Therefore, observe always the following
instructions:
Sharp drills enhance the drilling effect and
save the machine.
Do not load the machine so much that it
should stop working.
The gear case is provided with a safety clutch
serving for the protection against getting
blocked.
