- Connect the plug. Take the product with one hand and switch on with the switch (1).
- Pass the appliance over the surface to be cleaned, slowly moving back and forward.
- After cleaning, always turn off the appliance before unplugging and storing.
ATTENTION: keep the vacuum cleaner well to prevent it from falling, damaging it or causing injuries.
EMPTY AND CLEAN THE CONTAINER
In order to ensure the best performances and having no losses in the air flow and cleaning power, periodically
drain the container. CAUTION: before emptying and/or start cleaning the dust bin, unplug the unit
from the main electrical outlet.
To empty the container, extract the container, take it above a bin and extract the filters from container (4),
then empty the container and clean the filters. It is recommended to do this outdoors to avoid soiling the
house when the dust comes out of the trash. Replace the container.
CLEANING FILTERS
This vacuum cleaner is equipped with a metallic filter and 1 HEPA filter, capable of retaining particles and
small organisms such as mites and pollens. In this way the air re-emitted from the cleaner will be more
healthy and clean. To maintain the performance of the vacuum cleaner clean the filters regularly.
- Release the container (4) and take the filtering system out of dust container.
- Go over a bin and beat the filter to drop the largest residues.
- Remove the metal filter by turning it anticlockwise and then pulling it.
a) The wire mesh filter can be washed with running water.
b) Clean the HEPA filter as described below.
At least once a week, shake the HEPA filter in the bin to get the dirt out.
At least once every 2 months, carry out a more thorough cleaning: rinse HEPA filter, metal filter and
container with a soft brush and/or with warm water and DRY THEM THOROUGHLY.
CAUTION: Do not use detergent to clean the filter or the cover. The HEPA filter must be completely
dry before using the vacuum cleaner.
After cleaning:
-
Mount the metal filter on top of the HEPA filter, turning clockwise until it locks.
-
Take the container and insert the filtering system.
-
Refit the container to the motor body.
CLEANING UV LAMP
ATTENTION: make sure that the plug is unplugged from the electrical socket
Dust and stains on the lamp directly affect the penetration capacity of UV rays. The lamp needs to be cleaned
every 5-6 months to keep it efficient.
Remove the UV lamp cover plate by unscrewing the 2 screws (6).
Do not touch the UV lamp with bare fingers, any imprint left affects the penetration of UV light. Take
the lamp from the side lamp holder.
Clean the lamp gently using a soft, dry cloth, or by blotting with cotton.
After cleaning, replace the UV lamp cover plate and lock it using the 2 screws.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
CAUTION: before starting any operation, unplug the unit from the electrical outlet.
Normally this vacuum cleaner is not noisy. But when the dust container is full or the HEPA filter is clogged,
the noise emitted changes, so the suction power. In addition, thanks to the transparent container, you can see
the amount of dirt making it very easy to understand when you need to empty the container. Even the filters
should be cleaned periodically. These filters can also be damaged or exhausted (HEPA filter) and should be
replaced with new filters. Emptying the dust container and cleaning the filters as stated in this booklet, you
will avoid stressing the motor.
