3.2. Preparation for operation

POSITIONING OF THE UNIT
Keep the unit away from any hot surfaces. Always operate the unit on a level, stable,
clean, fireproof and dry surface and out of the reach of children and persons of
impaired mental, sensory and intellectual functions.
ASSEMBLY OF THE UNIT
Tools needed for assembly (not included):
• key 11/16 "
3/8 "key
•
screwdriver
•
1. Attach the handle to the cutting blade with the provided screws, washers
and nuts.
2. Attach the blade to the knife base:
• Unscrew the nut and slide out the bolt just enough to release one of the
plastic spacers at the bottom of the base.
• Align the hole in the blade with the hole in the base.
• Insert the bolt through the hole, put on the nut and tighten.
