CAUTION: The surfaces of the appliance get hot. To avoid accidental
burns, scalping, or steam being released while boling water, always
manipulate the appliance by using an oven mitt.
USING THE APPLIANCE
INSTRUCTIONS:
1.
This appliance is designed for household use only.
2.
Place the appliance on a stable, horizontal and level surface. Do not place appli-
ance on non-heat-resistant surfaces.
3.
Make sure that the marked electrical rating of the cord or extension cord is at least
as great as the electrical rating of the appliance. Plug the appliance to the wall
outlet.
4.
Open the lid by pushing the release button. Fill the jar with water without going
over the MAX level or under the MIN level. Never overfill the jar since boiling water
or hot steam could be expelled from the jar.
5.
Close the lid by pushing it down and place the jar on the provided base. This ap-
pliance will only work if the jar is properly placed on the base. Do not open the lid
while the appliance is functioning.
6.
Press the switchen located on the handle and the appliance will begin heating up
the water.
7.
Once the water has boiled, the appliance will turn off automatically. To cancel the
process at any time, please the switch to turn off.
8.
Remove jar from base. Be careful when serving water.
9.
Unplug the appliance from the wall outlet if you will not immediately use again.
CAUTION: this appliance will be severely damaged if it is heated when empty and dry.
This appliance has a thermal safety device. In case the thermostat fails, the electrical
circuit has an automatic shut-off, avoiding overheating. If the appliace is used when
empty and dry and the thermal safety is activated, allow for the appliance to cool off
completely before using again.
