01 General Information

For the purpose of drilling with diamond
drills, a basic machine from Fein (model
ASCM 18 QM Select) was retrofitted with
equipment for wet drilling. (See 02

Intended Use)

The operating and safety instructions as
well as the UKCA Declaration of
Conformity of the Fein company apply.
Additional information regarding the use
of this machine in accordance with its
intended purpose can be found in this
manual.
02 Intended Use
The cordless wet drilling machine is
intended for drilling natural stone such
as marble and granite, materials such as
ceramic tiles and glass, using water-
cooled diamond drill bits.
It allows wall and table drilling on-site as
well as at the workshop.
Water cooling can be achieved via the
portable water tank (Art. BO 79.370) or by
direct fresh water connection (max. 4 bar).
Please note: The machine is intended for
drilling the stated materials only. The final
drilling depth (e.g. plug holes) must be
completed with a machine + drill bit
suitable for the substrate.
