In any case, we recommend you to follow the instructions provided by the electrode manufacturer.
6. START UP.
This machine is equipped with an input voltage compensation device. When the supply voltage changes
within ± 15% of the nominal value, (230V.), It will continue to operate normally. When using a long cable,
a thicker cable is suggested to avoid voltage drop.
When using a long cable, a larger section cable is suggested to prevent voltage drop.
If you use welding cables that are too long, it can affect the performance of the equipment. We suggest
that you use the cables provided with the machine.
1. Make sure the air inlet to the fan is not blocked or covered, so that the cooling system works
efficiently.
2. Make sure the power cable is connected to a grounded outlet (socket). The earth conductor must
have a minimum section of 6 mm².
3. Please note the connection polarity correctly, this machine has two connection possibilities:
Direct and Reverse.
4. Direct Connection: the electrode holder is connected in the negative (-) polarity, while the work
piece is connected in the positive (+) polarity, through the ground clamp. Fig. ①.
5. Reverse Connection: The ground clamp to the negative (-) polarity, and the electrode holder to
the positive (+) polarity. Fig. ②.
