The following noises are typical for refrigeration appliances:

When the compressor starts or stops, there is a clicking sound.

When the compressor is running, you hear it purring.

Gurgling/splashing
When refrigerant flows into the narrow tubes, gurgling and splashing can be heard. Even
after the compressor stops, these noises continue for a short time.
