▪ Do not apply too much pressure over the work piece/object.
The angle grinder's weight is enough to apply the necessary
pressure. If speed drops abruptly, the pressure should be
reduced immediately;
▪ Never turn the angle grinder on if the rotating accessory is
touching the workpiece. The rotating accessory must not
touch the workpiece until the maximum speed has been
reached;
▪ Keep the edge of the wheel or disc at an angle of about 15
degrees to the workpiece surface. This procedure increases
the grinding capacity of the disc and will avoid unnecessary
motor overloads;
▪ Do not use water or grease during the sharpening process;
▪ Be careful when working around corners or sharp edges.
Prevent the disc from bouncing or getting stuck in the
workpiece;
▪ Work in such a way that the air hose is always kept behind
the appliance and away from your feet during operation to
avoid tripping and falling;
▪ Use original VITO accessories. Accessories from other
manufacturers are not suitable, may cause unbalancing,
excessive vibration and may cause loss of control of the
appliance;
Start and stop
Check the working pressure and adjust in accordance
with the technical data (Pmax < 6.2 bar).
1. To switch the appliance on push the safety lever (5) forwards
and press the "ON/OFF" switch (6);
2. To switch off, release the "ON/OFF" switch;
3. Adjust the safety lever so it locks the "ON/OFF" switch. This
will prevent the appliance from starting up unintentionally;
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Disconnect the pneumatic angle grinder from the
compressed air line before performing any maintenance
and cleaning task.

Lubrication
The device must be kept constantly lubricated to ensure the
best performance and to ensure the expected service life.
Greasing should be frequent, but not excessive. Just a few drops
of oil for pneumatic tools, after each use are enough. The oil will
lubricate the internal parts.
Lubrication can be carried out automatically by means of an air
filter regulator lubricator fitted in the compressed air system
supplying the appliance or manually if there is no such
component.
If the compressed air system to which the pneumatic angle
grinder is connected does not have an air filter regulator
lubricator, carry out manual lubrication following the procedure
given below:
1. Disconnect the appliance from the air hose;
2. Add a few drops of oil, at the air inlet (7), before each use or
every hour if the appliance is used continuously;
3. Loosen the lubricating bolt (1) and apply a few drops of oil to
the spindle.
Use only air tool oil. Other types of lubricants will damage
the gaskets.
Air inlet filter cleaning
Clean the air inlet filter regularly according to use.
1. Unscrew and remove the coupling from the air hose (9);
2. Blow with compressed air until the air inlet is completely
clean;
3. Attach the coupling.
