3. INSTALLATION AND START-UP PROCEDURE

3.1 SELECTING GATEWAY LOCATION

• Review Section 2: Installation requirements
• Depending on the installation layout and the arrangement of the sanitary fittings to be
monitored, place the Gateway in a position that facilitates BT wireless communication
between them.
If possible, place the device in the same room as the sanitary fittings.
• To check the coverage of the BT signal before placing the Gateway in a specific
position, power it electrically and follow the steps in sections 3.4 STARTING THE
SYSTEM and 3.6 SCANNING DEVICES.
Avoid placing it in adjacent rooms, separated by a wall.
