SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• The product can be used by children over the age of eight and by individuals with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or a lack of experience and/or knowledge, provided
that they are supervised or have received instructions on the safe use of the product and
understand the risks involved.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved.
• The appliance can be used by children older than 3 years and younger than 8 years under
supervision and with the control always set to minimum temperature value.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replanced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• The cable and control unit of the appliance can give rise to risks of entanglement, strangulation,
tripping or treading if not correctly arranged. The user shall make sure that excess ties and
electric cords shall be arranged in a safe way. Check that the blanket and cord do not become
trapped or rucked.
• Return to the supplier if has been misused.
• Not intended for medical use in hospital.
• Examine the appliance frequently.
• This product must not be used by individuals who are insensitive to heat (risk of e.g. unnoticed
burns), nor by individuals who would not be capable of responding to overheating (e.g. by
physically disabled individuals who would not be able to free themselves in the event of
overheating).
• This product must not be used by children under the age of three, because they are not able
to respond to overheating.
• Do not use the electric blanket in combination with other heating appliances.
• Do not leave the product unattended during operation. Turn off the switch and remove the
mains plug when the electric blanket is not in use or before cleaning it.
• Do not use the electric blanket when it is damp or wet.
• Do not use appliances such as hair dryers or tumble dryers for drying. Allow the blanket to air
dry.
• Ensure that the blanket and the cable do not become trapped during use.
• Never cover the controller.
• This electric blanket is not a medical product and is not suitable for therapeutic purposes.
• Connect the controls to the electric blanket before inserting the mains plug into the socket!
• The product is equipped with a fuse against overheating. When this fuse blows, the product
does not work any more. In this instance, please consult a qualified professional.
• The appliance must not be used on an adjustable bed.

• The product requires a power supply of 220-240V~50-60Hz. Please check that the appropriate
power supply is available before use.
