HE MANDOLIN IS A POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS APPLIANCE AND MUST ONLY
BE USED BY TRAINED PERSONNEL IN ACCORDANCE WITH THESE INSTRUCTIONS
•
Position on a flat, stable surface.
•
A service agent/qualified technician should carry out installation and any repairs if required. Do not
remove any components on this product.
•
Consult Local and National Standards to comply with the following:
• Health and Safety at Work Legislation
• BS EN Codes of Practice
•
Blade edges are sharp - DO NOT touch the blade edges.
•
DO NOT attempt to cut bones or items that are frozen. This can damage the blades.
•
Keep all packaging away from children. Dispose of the packaging in accordance to the regulations of
local authorities.
Introduction
Please take a few moments to carefully read through this manual. Correct maintenance and operation of
this appliance will provide the best possible performance from your VOGUE product.
Operation
Set-up
Unfold the front and rear legs [Fig. 1].

Note: Always hold the blades by the plastic handles when handling.

Slot the required Julienne blade into the appliance with the cutting edges facing UP the appliance
[Fig. 2].
Note: Ensure that the blade slots firmly into place, with the handle protruding from the
other side of the mandolin.
AND/OR
Insert the straight or serrated blade into the mandolin with the blade edge facing UP the appliance

[Fig. 3]. Firmly push the blade into the appliance until the blade release [Fig.6] clicks into place.
Note: The serrated blade cannot be used at the same time as the Julienne blades.
Adjusting the Thickness
Loosen the two guide plate knobs, located on either side of the mandolin [Fig. 4].

Gently move the guide plate to the required position. Push down to lower, push up from below to
raise.
Note: The lower the plate the thicker the slice.
3.
Tighten the knobs when the guide plate is in position.
