The dimension "e" corresponds to the thread-free area or ≥ 25 mm.

Two opposing sensors must be mounted at least 2.2 times the switching distance apart
(distance "a").

In the case of non-flush mountable sensors, the thread-free zone must be mounted at
least 1.5 times the switching distance away from the damping material.
