12. MAINTENANCE

The ARDEA ONE devices by Moretti S.p.A are checked carefully and supplied with EC mark, once
launched on the market. For patient and physician's safety we recommend to:
• When using the wheelchair for the first time and during the first month, check the fixing screws
of the frame and if necessary tighten carefully
• Every 3 months make a check for the condition of all components and the correct ones locking of
the screws and nuts of all mechanical parts, especially those concerning the wheels and the
braking system
In case of repair, use only original spare parts and accessories.
Follow the suggestions in chapter "BEFORE USE" .

13. CLEANING AND DISINFECTION

13.1 Cleaning Cover

The cover is in artificial leather and they all can be removed. Clean with warm water and mild soap

13.2 Cleaning pad

Clean with warm water and mild soap

13.3 Cleaning frame and metallic parts

Clean with warm water and mild soap. Dry with a soft cloth in order to not scratch the painting.

13.4 Cleaning brakes and wheels

Clean the wheels with warm water and mild soap. Pay attention in drying the wheels, it's dangerous
use the wheelchair with wet wheels.

13.5 Disinfection

If you need to disinfect the device use a common disinfectant cleaner
NOTE NEVER USE ACIDS, ALKALIS OR SOLVENTS SUCH AS ACETONE

14. CONDITIONS OF DISPOSAL

14.1 General conditions of disposali

In case of disposal don't use the inserting container for municipal waste. We recommend to dispose
the wheelchair in the appropriate disposal areas for recycling.
