25. SUFFOCATION HAZARD Infants have suffocated:
• In gaps between an extra pad and the side of the bassinet.
• On soft bedding. NEVER add a mattress, pillow, comforter, or
padding.
• Use ONLY the mattress pad, mattress cover and sheet provided by
Bugaboo.
26. To reduce the risk of SIDS, pediatricians recommend healthy infants be
placed on their backs to sleep, unless otherwise advised by your
physician.
27. Strings can cause strangulation! Do not place items with a string
around a child's neck, such as hood strings or pacifier cords. Do not
suspend strings over a bassinet or attach strings to toys.
28. Do not use the Bugaboo footmuff, Bugaboo performance winter
footmuff, Bugaboo blanket or Bugaboo rain cover while the bassinet is
on the Bugaboo bassinet stand.
