From this time onwards the UV ray lamp (5) will come on and the sterilisation
process will begin which lasts around 7 minutes.
3. If you wish to stop the appliance whilst it is working, press the on button
(2) again. The UV ray lamp (5) will go off and the on button (2) will flash
again at a greater speed in red to remind you that the steriliser is idle. If
you wish to turn the appliance off completely, press the on button (2) for 3
seconds.
4. If the device doesn't stop during the sterilisation process, when the latter
ends, the UV lamp (5) will go off as well as the on button (2).
NOTE: Ultraviolet light is damaging to the eyes and skin. Never look
directly into the light nor press the on button when the appliance is
open to avoid damage.
5.1. OPERATING METHODS
This steriliser has two operating modes depending on whether you wish to
sterilise dummies or teats directly on the bottle.
Dummy and teat sterilisation:
For this type of sterilisation, unscrew the cover (4) by turning it anticlockwise
and put the dummy into the product with the teat facing upwards so that it
obtains the light from the UV lamp (5) directly. You can also put the bottle
teat directly into the appliance in the same way.
Teat sterilisation on the bottle:
The teat can be sterilised directly by placing it on the bottle. With this in
mind, unscrew the base (7) of the steriliser by turning it anticlockwise
and place it directly on the neck of the bottle so that the teat is inside the
appliance and the light from the UV lamp falls on the latter directly.
